Our Torquay and Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park management teams have undergone a change in management with new park managers, assistant park managers, commercial manager and marketing communications officer being appointed in the past six months.
Meet the new team!
Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park Managers
Peter and Wendy have recently been appointed as the Lorne Park Managers after Stephen Mann and Sharon Sullivan’s resignation following the devastating Christmas Day 2015 bush fires. Peter and Wendy joined the park in October 2015 as Assistant Park Managers, and stepped into the management role at short notice in January following the temporary evacuation and closure of the park over Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Wendy and Peter are looking forward to working with the new management team to improve the Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park’s facilities.
Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park Managers
Nick and Nadja were appointed as Park Managers in March 2016. They are both highly experienced at managing caravan parks all across Australia and bring with them a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm. Nick and Nadja are excited to be leading the Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park team and look forward to their new chapter.
Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park Assistant Managers
Graeme and Jan joined the management team in March 2016 and have strong backgrounds in previous management roles, including in caravan parks, banking and operating their own business for more than a decade. They bring a friendly and enthusiastic approach and are a great addition to the park.
Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park Assistant Managers
Ann and Geoff joined the management team in February 2016 as Assistant Park Managers. They have strong backgrounds in previous management roles including hotels and caravan parks. Ann and Geoff are both very friendly and enthusiastic and are a great addition to the park.
GORCC’s Commercial Manager
Stephen Currie has joined the GORCC management team as the new Commercial Manager. Stephen has 30 years’ experience working in the hospitality industry, which has included accommodation management, the management of pubs, restaurants and conferencing venues across Australia. Stephen is eager to work with the new management teams at both caravan parks.
More than $1.3 million will go to improvements at GORCC’s caravan parks in 2016-17. As a not-for-profit, all dollars raised through GORCC’s commercial operations are reinvested back into the caravan parks, community and coast.
